The classic 8mm x 46cm Bound Loop Prusik is perfect for progress capture or an all-round rope grab for rescue situations, where an extra few seconds tying a prusik knot may be the difference between life and death.
The short loop is 40cm (16"), and at 20kN MBS, the sewn cord is stronger than a knot as well. Tandem prusik belays have never been so much fun!
