Description
The Wingman utilizes advanced design and technology to enhance performance in a compact personal mechanical advantage system. Its innovative design is one of the first in its category to feature internal progress capture within the device itself, eliminating the need for external prusiks. The Wingman incorporates a ratcheting sheave to stop the rope, paired with a composite handle (or "wing") that allows the operator to easily open and close the system under load, providing smooth, precise control. Even when fully loaded with the sheaves compressed, the system can be released with ease—one hand on the wing and the other managing the line.
With a minimum length of just 230mm, the Wingman offers better clearance under tripods and a greater range for pick-offs. It excels in creating adjustable directionals, work positioning, and other rigging tasks. The device can also be configured as a 4:1 or 5:1 mechanical advantage system, making it a versatile tool for many applications. These innovative features plus ball bearings within the sheaves that maximize efficiency for raising and lowering loads of up to 300kg, makes Wingman a simple tool you will always want at your side.
